San Francisco RocketBoat: Deals & Description
Here’s a fast and furious way to enjoy the San Francisco Bay — take a rip-roaring RocketBoat ride. This one’s on our short list for the next sunny day in SF. Whether you’re visiting San Francisco or live here in the Bay Area, this could be just the thing if you’re looking for a fun time out with family or friends.
The way to save on SF RocketBoat tickets is with a special promo from one of the biggest discount ticket companies (see deal details below). You don’t need to know the date you’re going to get tickets now online.
What To Expect
If you like speed and have 30 minutes in SF, you might enjoy this quick speedboat ride on the 70-foot long RocketBoat propelled by the boat’s 2800-horsepower engines. The folks at RocketBoat claim it’s the fastest watercraft on San Francisco Bay, covering speeds of up to 55 mph. The captain will narrate the sites as you go.
What You’ll See
You’ll speed past the The Embarcadero, AT&T Park, Treasure Island, Alcatraz, the SF sea lions, and you’ll zip along under the Bay Bridge, all to a soundtrack of rock tunes. The boat will stop at the hot spots for photo opps.
SAVVY TIP: You’ll stay a bit drier if you sit in the middle or the front of the vessel. Also, they’ll provide ponchos if you ask. Wet or dry, this ride is fast and fun.
San Francisco RocketBoat Tickets Discounts & Coupons
Here are the best ways to get tickets. By getting tickets online in advance, you’ll save time because you can skip the first line (box office) and go straight to the gate. Also, the discounts, when available, will save you a bunch.
SF ROCKETBOAT TICKETS
For starters, Viator has SF RocketBoat tickets at the regular price, although you save time by skipping the box office line (and go straight to the gate). This page will tell you all you need to know about this activity. Then you can compare with any deals available now listed below.
SF ROCKETBOAT DEAL
Here is the best offer for SF RocketBoat Discount Tickets. But remember, RocketBoat runs May through October, so you won’t always see the offer available on that page. Tickets are half off with this deal. It’s easy, and no promo code or coupon is needed.
OTHER WAYS TO SAVE
Build Your Own Go San Francisco Pass gets you at least 20% off and up to 55% off on just 2 (or more) SF activities that you select from a list of 55 or more. I love the “you build it” option, which is popular even with locals. You have 30 days to see only what you want, starting from the first time you use it. You can print or show on your smart phone. Who doesn’t want to see two killer SF attractions in a month (or maybe more)?
SF ROCKETBOAT COUPONS
Current coupons are unavailable, but check this space often for updates as they come available at different times during the season.
SF RocketBoat Know Before You Go
RocketBoat heads out east towards the Bay Bridge, turns sharply and goes towards AT&T Park. You’ll stop for some photo opps before speeding back towards Pier 39, with views of the SF skyline and bridges along the way.
RockeBoat runs May through October. Departs hourly From 12:30-6pm. The ride is about 30 minutes long. See complete date details after sign-in with the deal source.
SF RocketBoat Location
RocketBoat, The Embarcadero at Beach Street, San Francisco CA 94133.
Where to Park
If you are a AAA member, park in the Pier 39 garage, visit the California Welcome Cener at Pier 39, show your card, and get your self 2 hours of FREE parking. If you are a AAA member you can also get 2 hours free parking from the 2nd floor visitors office at pier 39.
What to Wear
Wear a warmer layer, no matter what the weather. I highly recommend wearing a windbreaker.
What to Bring or Leave Behind
Bring the voucher printout and your ID to the ticket booth. Skip the hats and glasses or the wind might take them away. Leave carryon items behind (there’s no storage on site, and the boat ride is windy and wet).
