What’s New at Magic Mountain besides Discounts?
Good news, and cheap thrills, that’s what’s new in the Los Angeles area (Valencia CA). First, Magic Mountain is now open all year long!
And second, Six Flags Magic Mountain, while not cheap, finally has the discount tickets back again. That helps when you’re taking the whole family to this SoCal theme park for the day.
Here’s what you need to know to get tickets at the best prices and plan a savvy day at this popular SoCal theme park.

6 Ways to Save at Six Flags Magic Mountain
These are for the most popular choice of tickets: one-day tickets. The best deal is currently available via an official Six Flags authorized ticket seller. They work with Six Flags all year long to push out seasonal offers like those listed below.
Savvy Tip: The first four discount tickets also save you time: they’re Print-at-Home, Any Day, Straight-to-the-Gate (no ticket line).
1. Six Flags Magic Mountain Deal
For Six Flags Magic Mountain day passes: Adults Save $20
2. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Deal

5. Discount Attraction Combo Passes
You’ve heard of The Go Los Angeles pass: Find out how to get up to 50% Off regular admissions to popular SoCal attractions (including Six Flags Magic Mountain).
Savvy Tip: The best Go Los Angeles pass is the “build your own” option that lets you pick as few as two attractions or as many as you want. With two, you save 20% on both. The more you pick the more you’ll save, though, up to 50% off.
6. Coupon or Promo Code
Oops, you missed this one! But I always add the next legitimate Six Flags coupon codes here when they comes around again. Watch this space.

Things to do at the Two Parks
You’ll find plenty to do at both of these theme parks, from nonstop entertainment (especially fun around the holidays) to fun games and food booths. But most people go for the thrill rides.
Savvy Trivia: Six Flags Magic Mountain in SoCal claims the world record for most roller coasters in an amusement park, with a whopping 19 roller coasters.
Six Flags Magic Mountain Activities
Six Flags Magi Mountain is where you go if you love roller coasters. People line up fast the the most popular coasters, so go early for these: New Revolution, Twisted Colossus, Full Throttle, and Goliath.

Six Flags Magic Mountain – Drop of Doom
Toting tots?
You’ll want to head over to Bugs Bunny World and a few other family-friendly rides.
New Coasters
West Coast Racers, for 2019. This is race car coaster with two side-by-side tracks where riders will make two complete laps. The track features airtime hills, extreme high-banked turns and exhilarating over/under near misses. (Troy will be so happy!) I’m looking forward to seeing what the ereal time “pit stop” is all about. Hope they get that one right.
Now up and running: CraZanity, located in the newly themed Boardwalk area. This crazy coaster takes you 17 stories in the air, reaching speeds up to 75-miles-per-hour, whipping back as it ascends.
Also new: renovated attractions, including better bumper cars, restaurants, shopping and game areas.
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Activities
Go here on hot summer days, especially if your family loves water slides (they have more than 23). Most popular (so go their first): Tornado, Black Snake Summit, Bamboo Racer, and for younger children, go to Castaway Cove, Shipwreck Shores.
If you don’t like slides, you can hang out for hours in the pools, such as: the Forgotten Sea wave pool, and The River Cruise lazy river (one of my faves).
What’s new? The coiling enclosed tubes in Python Pass.
